WEDDING RECEPTION: the Vincigliata Castle is located on the Fiesole Hill, just few kilometers from Florence downtown, on a beautiful high position that guarantees a stunning view of the city's beauties. Today this magnificent location can be a setting for your dream wedding in Florence.
It was originally built in 1100 and its beauty has been preserved to our days only thanks to Lord John's love for it. He bought the property in 1840 and made it the home for his friends. At the time only the main tower was the part of the castle still standing and Lord John gave this castle it's beauty and charm back.  The castle can hold up to 200 people inside, while the internal court and the garden can hold to a max of 130 people. Your wedding reception can start in the Italian garden terrace, surrounded by the Castle stone walls. The reception dinner can be either in the courtyard or in the big ballroom, according to the number of guests you have.

CIVIL & RELIGIOUS WEDDING: Civil weddings can be performed at the Fiesole Town Hall or at Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. Catholic weddings can be performed at the local parish church, while Protestant and Anglican right in the center of Florence.
