This splendid, lushly furnished villa is rich in history. In the 13th century a small Romanesque Parrish was built on the present grounds of the villa, the surrounding territory having been the site of violent battles between the Siena and Florence Republics – with the latter emerging as the victor. The small Parrish also was the cause for fighting between the Siena and Arezzo Archdioceses and a stone column indicating the boundaries between the two warring churches still remains. Through the years the parish was demolished and in its place, during the 13th Century, the framework for this spectacular villa in the rich vineyards of the Tuscan hills was constructed. Villa Gerlino was restored to its magnificence in 2001.

VILLA - 7 BEDROOMS / 7 BATHROOMS - Sleeps 14 people

Ground Floor: Featuring a main hall with a stone fireplace, a central arc made with original bricks and a beam ceiling. Also there is a wide dining room for 20 people and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. The villa is entirely equipped with a floor climate system which provides heat and some cooling in the summer.

Raised Floor : Features A laundry and 2 double bedrooms with private bathrooms and satellite televison

First Floor: On the first floor are 5 double bedrooms, all with bathroom and satellite tv. 3 of these bedrooms are "suites" (independent entrance, king beds and wide showers).

ANNEX - 3 BEDROOMS /3 BATHROOMS - sleeps 6 people.
The annex is located five meters from the main villa, and features an independent kitchen and 3 double bedrooms with bathrooms and satellite television. The annex is extremely comfortable and provides the perfect place for those guests who want a bit of separation from their fellow family members!

OUTDOOR - On the outside of the villa is a large garden and a vineyard surrounded by olive groves
