Inspiring Country Chic South Africa Wedding Decor brought to Tuscany

Carolina Casini 05/11/2013

The South Africa wineland is one of the places I love the most. In our April trip, together with business partner Ric, had the chance to visit many wedding venues of these amazing part of the world. One of the places is always in my memories is Babylonstoren, an ancient old Dutch farmhouse converted in a luxury hotel.

Here is where I have seen the most creative, simple and inspiring decorations for a wedding table that would fit any of our countryside estates here in Tuscany. Bunches of fragrant rosemary hanging from the ceiling to create rustic chandeliers, artichokes flowers and cabbage leaves in vases along the dining table to create a minimalistic arrangement, a single cabbage leave to decor the knife and create a signature for the cake cutting!

The South Africa wineland reminds me a lot of Southern Tuscany, and especially the Maremma region near the coast, with its amazing blue skies and rolling hills. Why not to be inspired and create something unique here as well? Come back to us for updates on this!

This magical Babylonstoren features also special guests – two curious spanish donkeys that always want to be part of your special celebration!
