 Hotel Caruso
The five star Hotel Caruso perched at the highest point in Ravello, on
top of a cliff overlooking the Tyrrhenian sea along the spectacular Amalfi coast is one
of TuscanDream's favourites. Offering phenomenal service and beautiful rooms since 1893
the Caruso has been host to many celebrities including Virginia Woolf, Graham
Green, Arturo Toscanini, Humphrey Bogart, Greta Garbo, Jackie Kennedy and Gore
Vidal, who wrote Myra Breckenridge here in room number 9. The friendly multilingual staff will cater to your every need arranging everything from tickets for the music festivals to
helicopter transfers to Naples!
 The hotel has 24 magnificent suites and an additional 26 traditional
rooms. Most of the rooms and suites have sea views and terraces, while many also have private gardens. Although all the rooms are fantastic TuscanDream particulary recommends
the Deluxe Suites, large and dramatic suites with breathtaking sea views and magnificent terraces equipped with sun loungers,tables and chairs.
The Hotel Caruso offers traditional Neapolitan cuisine at its Caruso Restaurant located on the first floor. The Belvedere
Restaurant, is an open air restaurant perfect for regional Italian lunches and dinners, and the poolside snack bar serves
informal meals for those relaxing at the hotel's magnificent swimming pool. The Cocktail and Piano Bar is located on the first
floor of the main building and is decorated with original 18th Century frescoes.
