King Louis XV commissioned architect Jacques-Ange Garbriel in 1758 to create one of the most magnificent buildings in Paris and he succeeded! The Crillon has 103 guest rooms and 44 magnificent Suites - five of which overlook the Place de la Concorde. The rooms have been restored in Louis XV style under the auspices of the french National Historic Landmark Commisison. The rooms feature flatscreen televisions, ADSL internet connections, marble bathrooms and first class amenities. All the suites are exquisitely furnish and decorated with Aubusson carpets, Baccarat chandeliers and Wedgewood medaillons.
