Constructed in 1929, the beachfront four star Palais de la Mediterranée with its monumental facade became a legend first in Nice and then throughout the world from the moment it was built in 1929. The hotel, restored lovingly in 2004, has a wonderful art deco design and features a famous casino, creating a world of arts and gaming, of luxury and beauty straight out of the Roaring Twenties.

Palais de la Mediterranée has 188 rooms and suites, around a panoramic terrace looking over the Baie des Anges. All the rooms are decorated in the Art-Deco style offering a blend of wood, textiles and simple lines and are furnished with state-of-the-art equipment including flat screen televisions.

At Padouk, the cuisine has Mediterranean flavors, emphasizing seasonal products, seafood and fruits and vegetables of the region. Padouk's chef employs the cuisine of his heritage, remembering his grandmother's cooking and applying contemporary touches. The general atmosphere is very warm, welcoming and relaxing. During sunny days, the restaurant's terrace, landscaped with mandarin trees and lavender, offers a spectacular panoramic view on the Baie des Anges and the rest of the beautiful Côte d'Azur. The vast pool, heated all year long and surrounded by parasols, provides the centrepiece for guests who are invited to indulge in moments of intense relaxation.
