 Chateau de Codignat
Codignat is an authentic 15th century castle and five star hotel in the volcanic Basse-Auvergne region, northwest of Provence and west of the Alps. Chateau de Codignat has 15 rooms and 4 apartments. The unique ambience of a place filled with history...each and every room is decorated in 15th and 16th century style, yet also equipped with the most modern conveniences: satellite TV, mini bar, personal room safe. All bathrooms have jacuzzis. All rooms and suites are unique, and all whisper secrets of long ago in visitors' ears. Calm, private apartments have been installed in annexes opposite the castle and right next to the pool. The restaurant is listed in the principal dining guides and has a Michelin star.
