  Bruschetta Toscana

Bruschetta Toscana Serving: 1 slice of bread for each person - 4 servings

10 minutes

a. Fresh Italian Loaf of Bread: 4 slices (1/2 inch thick)
b. Fresh Garlic: 2 whole cloves
c. Salt
d. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Pre-heat the Oven at 350 C

Cut 4 Slices from the Italian loaf bread ( no more than 1/2 inch thick) and toast in the oven until light brown: about 4-5 minutes.

Take out the garlic skin and rub garlic firmly across the face of the toast. Add salt and enough olive oil to cover the entire surface of the bread.

TIPS:

Be sure to add salt first before olive oil, or else the salt will float on top of the oil and give the bruschetta an uneven taste.
